How to embed your ULTRV feed on your website

Put the latest posts from your ULTRV blog on your company site, landing page, or portfolio. Figments reads your published posts through ULTRV's API and shows them as linked cards with each post's cover and title, so visitors go straight to the article on your blog.

Connect your ULTRV feed

  1. Open the feed dashboard, choose ULTRV in the Platform selector, and give your feed a name.
  2. Paste an API key from your ULTRV account settings into the field labeled “ULTRV API key”, then enter your blog's slug, such as yourblog. A dashboard or blog address (app.ultrv.com/blogs/yourblog or yourblog.ultrv.blog) works too. The field is labeled “ULTRV blog slug or URL”.
  3. Choose Create and check the live preview. Confirm that the cards belong to the source you intended before adding them to your website.
  4. Adjust the layout, colors, captions, and post count, then copy the embed code shown for your feed.

Example source: yourblog

Connect with an API key that stays on the server

ULTRV feeds are the one source that needs a credential. Figments checks the key against your blog before the feed is saved, stores it on the Figments server, and uses it only to read your posts. The key is never part of the embed code and never reaches your visitors. If you rotate the key in ULTRV, use Replace key in the dashboard so the feed keeps updating.

Only published posts appear

Drafts stay private. Each card shows the post's featured image, or its first uploaded image when there is no featured image, above the title, and links to the post at your blog's address, including a custom domain. Give a text-only post a featured image in ULTRV if you want every card to have a cover.

New posts arrive on the next refresh

Figments serves the feed from a stored copy and checks your blog in the background, more often while you are publishing and less often when nothing changes. A post you have just published appears after the next check rather than instantly.

Add the snippet to your website

Paste the generated snippet into a place that accepts HTML and JavaScript. Keep the feed identifier from the dashboard intact: it connects the widget to your saved configuration. Publish the page and open it as a visitor to check that the feed appears.

For WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a plain HTML page, follow the website installation guide. Some page editors remove scripts or only execute them on the published site.

Choose a plan and a layout

The free plan includes cards and grid layouts, up to six posts, and a Figments badge. Pro is $3 per month and adds carousel, mosaic, and list layouts, up to twelve posts, custom CSS, and badge removal. Start with the free preview to decide how much space the feed needs.

If your feed does not appear

Check the blog slug and API key above, and confirm that the blog has published posts; the dashboard shows ULTRV's reason when a key is rejected. On your website, confirm that the editor retained the snippet and that you published the latest page. Content depends on the source platform's availability and may be served from cache.

Frequently asked questions — ULTRV

Do I need to connect my ULTRV account?

Yes, with an API key rather than a login. Create a key in your ULTRV account settings and paste it next to your blog slug (yourblog). Figments checks the key before saving the feed, keeps it on the Figments server, and only reads published posts.

Why is my ULTRV feed empty?

Check the blog slug (ULTRV blog slug or URL: yourblog), make sure the API key belongs to the account that owns the blog, and confirm the blog has published posts. Drafts are never shown.

Will it work on WordPress and Shopify?

Yes. Paste the same snippet in WordPress Custom HTML, Shopify Custom Liquid, Webflow Embed, Squarespace Code Block, Wix Embed HTML, or plain HTML. No plugin needed.
