How to embed your Pinterest feed on your website

Bring a public Pinterest collection into a portfolio, inspiration page, or editorial feature. Figments displays linked pin cards from a profile or a specific board, with layouts you can match to the surrounding page.

Connect your Pinterest feed

  1. Open the feed dashboard, choose Pinterest in the Platform selector, and give your feed a name.
  2. Enter a Pinterest username for a profile, or username/board-name for a board. Copy the board path from Pinterest without the domain. The field is labeled “Pinterest username or user/board”.
  3. Choose Create and check the live preview. Confirm that the cards belong to the source you intended before adding them to your website.
  4. Adjust the layout, colors, captions, and post count, then copy the embed code shown for your feed.

Example source: yourbrand/studio-inspiration

Use a board for a focused collection

A board can keep a gallery centered on one topic, such as a collection, material, or room design. A profile is a broader source. Enter the board's URL path rather than its display title: a board called Studio Inspiration may have a path such as yourbrand/studio-inspiration.

Leave room for different image shapes

Pinterest collections often contain portrait images as well as squares. Preview the cards with your real pins before choosing a compact grid. A Pro mosaic layout can suit a more varied gallery. Keep enough spacing between cards that visitors can distinguish each image and its link on a small screen.

Check visibility and image rights

Secret boards and content behind a login cannot be treated as a public feed. Display pins you own or have permission to republish; finding an image on Pinterest does not itself grant reuse rights. Pinterest can also change what it exposes publicly, so use the preview to check that the selected board is available.

Add the snippet to your website

Paste the generated snippet into a place that accepts HTML and JavaScript. Keep the feed identifier from the dashboard intact: it connects the widget to your saved configuration. Publish the page and open it as a visitor to check that the feed appears.

For WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a plain HTML page, follow the website installation guide. Some page editors remove scripts or only execute them on the published site.

Choose a plan and a layout

The free plan includes cards and grid layouts, up to six posts, and a Figments badge. Pro is $3 per month and adds carousel, mosaic, and list layouts, up to twelve posts, custom CSS, and badge removal. Start with the free preview to decide how much space the feed needs.

If your feed does not appear

Check the source format above, confirm that the profile or collection is public, and look for an error in the dashboard preview. On your website, confirm that the editor retained the snippet and that you published the latest page. Content depends on the source platform's availability and may be served from cache.

Frequently asked questions — Pinterest

Do I need to connect my Pinterest account?

No. Enter the public pinterest username or user/board as shown (yourbrand/studio-inspiration). Figments reads public posts — no OAuth is needed. Use your own profile or one you have permission to republish.

Why is my Pinterest feed empty?

Check the handle format (Pinterest username or user/board: yourbrand/studio-inspiration), confirm the profile is public and has recent posts, and look for an error in the dashboard preview. Private or login-gated content cannot appear.

Will it work on WordPress and Shopify?

Yes. Paste the same snippet in WordPress Custom HTML, Shopify Custom Liquid, Webflow Embed, Squarespace Code Block, Wix Embed HTML, or plain HTML. No plugin needed.
